FEAR – LESS

Fear is a living, pulsing energy. It has mass, takes up space and has intangible form and structure. What does this mean to you and your life?

What it means is that Fear is more than just a feeling or an unwelcomed visitor. Fear is a force, a powerful parasitic force that feeds off of your chi, your life energy. Let me clarify the Fear I am referring to here is not the authentic, in-the-moment, heart-pounding Fear. It is False Fear.

Real Fear is birthed as a biochemical informational messenger to alert us to imminent danger. False Fear starts in our mind and although it creates the same chemicals in our body, it does not come with the same agenda or intent as Real Fear.

False Fear lives in the shadows of the past and the darkness of the future. It speaks of things that haven’t occurred as if they had, shifting our focus out of the present moment where our power and control are. Basically we’ve been hijacked into the future or time-warped into the past.

False Fear immobilizes us and creates confusion and impulsive reactions and decisions—purchasing something we don’t need or saying something we shouldn’t have. Ever done this?

Real Fear is clean-cut, with no hidden agendas, no scare tactics, just facts. Its purpose is to keep us in control and in our power. False Fear covets our power and rapes us of our ability to be in control.

Riding on thought waves, an adept energy surfer, False Fear also creates a free-floating mass consciousness fear. This fear circulates the ethers, looking for the energy of fear to attach itself to. And when it does, the fear an individual was feeling has now grown exponentially. Think back for a moment. Do you remember feeling a little fearful about something and before you knew it you were overwhelmed, out of proportion to what was going on?

Helpful steps to working with fear:

  1. First differentiate between whether you are experiencing Real Fear (something happening in the moment) or False Fear (fear of something from the past happening or fear of something happening in the future).

  1. Then breathe deeply in through the nose the energy of confidence, calmness, peace of mind, etc. and on the out breath, breathe out the energy of Fear. Beginning in childhood when we felt fearful, we began holding our breath. When we step into shallow breathing our ability to think and process information is diminished, creating panic, anxiety and confusion.

  1. Re-focus on what you want to happen. Fear keeps us focused on what we don’t want to experience. Remember that energy flows where attention goes.

  1. Say “Stop” out loud to the energy of False Fear. Say it with force and conviction.

  1. Increase your level of self-trust and trusting life. As the energy of trust goes up, the energy of Fear goes down. Fear tends to shine the light in areas of our life that we are insecure in or doubtful about.

  1. Regain control over your emotions and thoughts. You always have control over these!

  1. Increase your level of belief in yourself. Fear is a seductive energy, seducing us while wrapping its fingers around our throat. It wants us to believe we are powerless and that Fear has the answers. Do not fall for this seduction.

  1. Be an archaeologist, uncover the source of your Fear. Is it coming from an old belief, hurt or association? Once you figure this out, spend time healing this area and creating new beliefs and associations that serve and support you.

Fear is like a weed or an unwanted insect in your garden of life. It is not bad, just out of place. Weeds in a field or insects in the woods, are okay.

The energy schematic below shows the subconscious mind how to move through and with Fear. Instead of resisting it , like an opponent charging you, step aside, using the opponents energy to flip it (Fear) into an energy that serves you more (security, peace, gratitude).
